Santa’s reindeer visited Knoxville on December 4th and 5th to the delight of many local children of all ages.  In two weeks Dancer and Clarisse will again take their sleigh on the road for a visit to Brentwood Tennessee at Brentwood Place Shopping Center.

Creekside Nurseries planned their event last weekend in Knoxville to highlight the holiday season and showcased three reindeer from Rocky Hill Reindeer.  Dancer, Pranser, and Clarisse (Rudolph’s girlfriend) were available for adults and children to view, take pictures and pet.

Kyle Wilson and Donna Roach with Rocky Hill Reindeer raise reindeer for sale, rental or lease and showcase the reindeer each december at numerous events.  Most events include a large tent with a pen for the reindeer and a fence around it for visitors to watch, gaze and point.  They also provide sleighs for Santa to drop by and allow families to take pictures.

Garry and Wendy Lowe brought their daughter Emily plus her friend Emily Barnes and had pictures taken with Santa on his sleigh.  Also telling Santa what they wanted for Christmas while having their parents take pictures were Benjamin and Maisie Holt of Knoxville.

Creekside Nurseries was able to make it a total Christmas event by lighting up an outside fireplace and providing hot chocolate along with showcasing an assortment of Christmas trees while their guests enjoyed Santa, Dancer, Pranser and Clarisse.

Rocky Hill Reindeer plans on bringing their reindeer to Brentwood Tennessee on Saturday December 18th at Brentwood Place Shopping Center (330 Franklin Road) from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm.

So, parents need to charge up their cameras, plan for a holiday event and get the children ready.  They will have a “Picture Taking” good time.
